Standing with Sudan: Support communities affected by conflict and displacement. Support the response

Get involved

Bring your time, voice and support to community-led action

There are different ways to contribute to TUSIC’s mission—from volunteering and membership to organizational partnership and financial support.

Collective responsibility

Meaningful change requires many forms of contribution

Community organizations grow through the knowledge, time, relationships, financial resources and lived experience of people who believe in their mission.

TUSIC seeks participation that strengthens responsible action and respects the leadership of communities directly affected by conflict, displacement and inequality.

Each form of involvement has different responsibilities, eligibility requirements and approval processes. Expressing interest does not automatically create a role, membership, partnership or funding commitment.

Frequently asked questions

Getting involved with TUSIC

Do I need to live in Sudan to get involved?

Not necessarily. Appropriate opportunities may be available to people in Sudan and across the diaspora, depending on the role, location, operational needs and TUSIC’s capacity.

Does submitting a volunteer application guarantee a role?

No. Applications must be reviewed against current needs, role requirements, capacity and any required screening.

Can I fundraise on behalf of TUSIC?

Only with prior written authorization. Individuals must not create fundraising campaigns, collect money or use TUSIC’s identity without approval.

Can an organization propose a partnership?

Yes. A proposal begins a review process but does not create a partnership or commitment until the required assessment, due diligence and authorization are complete.

Can I donate goods instead of money?

Only when TUSIC has confirmed a specific need and approved collection process. Unrequested goods may create storage, transport, customs and distribution challenges.
